"Dear Simon, I understand from Katherine that you were able to say goodbye to Cassie last Friday – She adored you – Thank you so much for looking after her so well for all these years and for advising us with skill and patience. But most of all for making her visits to you such fun. With best wishes"
"I would like to thank all the staff at Crossroads, High Wycombe, for your wonderful support and the sensitive way you have dealt with my dear Mabel. You have helped me get through a very difficult and emotional time."
I just wanted to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the way your staff handled the sad passing of my beloved Labrador, Tom.
The vet and nurse who attended my home on Friday 20th January, could not have been more caring, thoughtful and professional at this difficult time, and I am extremely grateful that Tom was able to pass gently and without stress.
Your staff were an absolute credit to the practice.”
“Best vet I have used in my time! The vets are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and do what is best for the animal always explaining their plans carefully. I tend to go to Hazlemere and I have to say the reception team are super friendly too! Thank you!”
"Thank you so much for the most dignified and thoughtful way in which you handled our beloved Beth and for the after thought of forget me not seeds and card, we much appreciated the sentiment she will be greatly missed but you made the whole experience manageable thanks again."
"5 star! I live in Chesham but have been going to the Hazlemere branch for the last 12 years. Well worth the drive. I wouldn't let anyone else care for my beloved dogs.
After a bad experience at another vets I was recommended to go to crossroads and I don't regret it. Everyone is brilliant from the vets to the nurses and of course the lovely ladies on reception. I appreciate everything you do and thank you for restoring my faith over the last 12 years. You are all fantastic."
"Fantastic vets! I have always come here with my rabbits. Recently took my two rabbits in for spays - excellent communication so that I didn't need to worry about them following their operations. Today I had a poorly bunny and the vet was so kind and helpful. All the staff are always so friendly. Thoroughly recommend."
"I feel personally fortunate that for the 25 years I have lived in Watlington I have been able to make use of Crossroads Veterinary Centre in the middle of the village. They have taken constant care of my dogs even to the extent of making home visits when it was absolutely necessary. Their 24 hour emergency service at High Wycombe has been on 2 occasions immensely useful. It is a wonderful practice. The veterinary staff are always helpful and reliable. We are so lucky to have them here in the Chilterns."
"I have entrusted Crossroads Veterinary Practice to care for my pets for over 30 years - initially at High Wycombe and now at Watlington.
In all of that time I can honestly say that their expertise and professionalism have always been excellent and the service they provide is second to none. I would not choose to go anywhere else for my animal's treatment.
In addition, their staff are truly caring and friendly and they never forget that, for some of us, our pets are as dear to us as life itself."
"As always a friendly welcome and a great visit."
"I cannot thank the staff at Crossroads Vets enough. They made the whole traumatic experience very easy and their aftercare & advise was brilliant. Clyde is much more comfortable in his mouth although still sore (6 days post extractions), with the right aftercare and diet hopefully he will continue to heal."
"I would like to thank all staff at Crossroads Vets in HW for the fantastic care of our Tessa. She is on the mend now after an op on her leg. She has been well cared for by all the nurses and staff even though she didn't like the purple dressing and decided to remove it herself. Thank you all."
"My cats are always treated with kindness and patience. Thank you to everyone at Crossroads!"
"Fabulous" – Love Simon
"Crossroads Veterinary Centre in Watlington is a valuable service to the local community. The professional staff are very helpful and responsive. The support staff are always welcoming and know many of the animals well. The extended hours service in High Wycombe is very useful with direct involvement of the 3 Partners with supporting vets. A 5 star practice."
"Reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Really informative and caring, as was the vet Sally. Really happy."
"We have now had three generations of dogs cared for by Crossroads Veterinary Practice in Watlington. Each dog had particular ailments at different times, and each received individually- tailored treatment. They were looked after - literally - from cradle to grave by vets who were thoughtful, knowledgeable and compassionate."
"Great vets would never take my baby's elsewhere."
"To all of you,
It has been a month, now since Taz died and it is taking us some time to come to terms with it. As it should do after nearly 14 years; he played an important part in our lives. It is very quiet without him. We were reflecting the other day that when he wanted to go into the garden or come back into the house, he just came to the door and thought loudly. And we heard him!
Therefore, we wanted to say how much we appreciated the support we had during his illness, and the final decisions. We know it cannot be easy, even for the most professional team, to help an animal on its way. Because it seems very hard to imagine life without a dog, we know that when we are ready we will find and love another one, always aware that dog will be its own dog, not this one we just lost. We hope that we will find you there as we build another canine friendship."
"Fergal is just brilliant."
"My dog, a pug, has been a patient of Crossroads Veterinary Centre for several years. She could not have received better or friendlier treatment!"
"Excellent as usual. Mr Walters was very kind in giving us all the information we need to help with Holly's health problems as she ages."
"I've been a client of Crossroads since 1991 and during that time I have always been very pleased with the treatment and ...care that my dogs (and in the past, rabbits, rats and gerbils too) have had. Last week, for the first time, I had to rush one of my dogs into the Wycombe surgery, he spent the next two days on a drip being cared for by the staff. I cannot fault the care given to him by the vets or the nurses, or to me by the receptionists. I was given regular updates and was kept fully informed of all the treatment that was being given. It helped me to know exactly what was going on and also to know that the nurses were giving him his all-important cuddles. Suffice to say, I would recommend crossroads to anyone."
- kind professional staff
- explanation about problem given
- went away feeling confident"
"I have been a client since you first opened in Watlington and have always found the service you offer to be extremely professional, but with added thoughtfulness and kindness, particularly when hard decisions have to be made.
I have no hesitation in recommending Crossroads Vets."
"Excellent - AS USUAL!!!"
"We took our very sick cat to Watlington yesterday and the vet we saw (Crystal) was amazing and he is now well on the way to recovery. Would totally recommend them to anyone x."
"Calm, cool, very friendly staff. Clean."
"I am very grateful for the care and kindness I received when I had to bring my very ill cat in last week. She had been missing and was found very dehydrated and with a high temperature. The reception staff were kind and responsive when I phoned and I saw a vet quickly. The vet was professional and understanding, and explained the options of what needed to be done and why. They understood that she is a nervous and shy cat and cared for her appropriately. She is now well, and I am very appreciative of all that was done."
"All involved in the practice - receptionists, nurses, vets have always been helpful and constructive and never made us feel our concerns, however small, were trivial. We were always impressed when vets, as far back as Mrs Bridle would research problems, after a consultation, to ensure the best, up to date care was being administered. We will miss you all, but send our very best wishes."
